Blue sky for the morning

A breeze for the afternoon.

A friend for Lucas

And sweet dreams for the night.

A tender short story speaking right to the heart of all children that have a secret place in their heart. A place where an animal, like a loving angel, will come and rest.

Lucas lives in a house on top of a hill. He likes to dream of countless things, beneath the chestnut trees caressed by the breeze bathed in the sun.

One afternoon, Lucas is surprised with two shining spots in the shadow of the geant trees : those are the eyes of a young fox staring at him. Both of them intrigued, one makes a step forward while the other makes a step backward... The two strangers, curious and shy, becom friends at the end of the day.

Bringing about a friendship means creating a link while staying free. This book shares a fleeting but beautiful moment thanks to a harmonious play between a simple text and expressive images, reflecting subtle subjective reality that can be understood by all children and adults.

Bobi + Bobi illustrates poetry and stories for young and grown-up readers. No matter for which kind of publication - a journal, a book or an exhibition - she keeps drawings every day on tiny pieces of paper or huge ones. Her favourite tools are the pen, pieces of coal, the oil paints, the chocolate and weared-down brushes. She thinks the figures she creates have a secret life, for sometimes, in the night, she hears whispers coming from her workshop...
