The sky, the Moon and stars... the world is immense and admirable. However, some little shining stones are big enough to hide this amazing spectacle away from us.

But, luckily, the spell is broken after an accident of the One-Who-Saw : now he gazes at the wonders of the world, more beautiful than he ever imagined.  He can't wait to spread the good news and share his joy with his fellow beings. Yet, what exactly did he see ?

Storyline

In a far-away country, tiny precious stones appear on the ground. On seeing this, people who lived happily turn greedy and keep looking for them, never raising their head again to admire the beauty of the world. After several generations, the sky, the Moon and stars become fanciful legends because nobody sees them any more.

However, an accident occurs to the One-Who-Saw and makes him discover the marvellous creatures of the world in real. Will he succeed in spreading the good news over the country and make people happy again ?

Author

Gambhiro BHIKKHU, born in Hawaii in 1946, travelled to Europe (Switzerland) before becoming monk in Thailand in 1978. Ten years later, after visiting Birma, China, Japan and Korea, he settled down by the town of Puli in Taiwan.

While spreading his Thai teacher's wisdom in English and Chinese-speaking world, Gambhiro reveals his talent in storytelling with the publication of several stories since the 1990s (ed. Dhamma Garden, ed. Oak Forest).
